Blademgr error
Posted in 2007
Registering the Excalibur Text Search DataBlade (ETX 1.30.UC6) on IDS 10.00.UC5 under AIX 5.3 failed with "blademgr ISAM error: no free disk space", even though the OS filesystems had room. Suggestions were to check the target dbspace and whether a smart blob space/DEFAULTSBS was configured. onstat -d showed the database had been created in rootdbs with only 10 pages left; recreating it in a new dbspace cleared that error. Registration then failed with -9793 (UDR etx_createstorage module load failed), and no resolution for that second error is recorded in the thread.

Greetings, IDS 10.UC5 AIX 5.3 Excalibur datablade 1.30.UC6 I'm attempting to register the above datablade and I'm getting the following error: blademgr ISAM error: no free disk space I know, the error is very specific; however, /tmp has plenty of space and so does the filesystem where IDS installed; /opt. I also get the same error when I attempt either of the following blademgr commands: show databases list a_database I have 10.00.FC5 running on the same box and the blademgr commands listed above work without error. I have checked the IBM IDSV10 info center, but I found nothing specific to the above error. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Mike Mike Badar ESRI 1 International Ct. Stuart,
I don't see the DEFAULTSBS keyword in the onconfig file. I do have the
SBSPACENAME and the SYSSBSPACENAME keywords. Both keywords are pointing
to a valid smart blob DB space. The DB space has plenty of free space
available.
