Web AND Image datablades

Hi, We are designing a Web server with illustra, and we would like to use the Image Datablade in conjuction with the Web Datablade to treat photographs. But although Jpeg is by far the best image format for photography, the Image Datablade does not recognizes it, so we cannot manipulate our photographs. Did someone ever address this problem ?
