As various people suggested, sqlexecd is primarily associated with SE; in the days of yore, it was also associated with OnLine as it also provided the network connectivity in I-Star. Since OnLine Dynamic Server 6.00, it has not been needed by OnLine or IDS. The sqlhosts file and the NETTYPE entries in the ONCONFIG file control the TCP/IP connections to the database server. -- Jonathan Leffler #include <disclaimer.h> Email: jleffler@earthlink.net, jleffler@us.ibm.com Guardian of DBD::Informix v2003.04 -- http://dbi.perl.org/
