Informix.com is the best place to get that info. Also, there are the public DB benchmark tests ( which Informix has been winning for for a few years now in my humble opinion ), but these all get very technical very quickly. Myself, I like their way of handling internal threads, which mean it scales very well. There are many other factors as well, such as backup methods, multiple DB's for testing etc. In my experiance, you still will have problems, but far fewer than with the others. Like a lot of things, this topic can easily get religious. Seems to me, some people like the big O because they can earn more money per hour that way ( and many of them ;-). Hope this helps, James.
