Error -999 with IDS 9.40
Hi everybody !
Here is the problem ...

database wic_icon;
(...)
SELECT * FROM wic_jrep_object
WHERE rep_code = "sample"
INTO TEMP tmp_1 WITH NO LOG;
UPDATE tmp_1 SET rep_code = "sample_new",
rep_updated = CURRENT;
INSERT INTO wic_isan:wic_jrep_object SELECT * FROM tmp_1;
(...)
==============================================================
The above code has been running without problems since 9.40 has come.
The problem is with the last statment INSERT-SELECT crossing databases and
with the SELECT * ... If I detail one at one all the columns and avoid * this
runs OK... but, I will be all the times reprograming this code when the
wic_jrep_object table changes her structure.
Any idea or the posibility it will run as ever ???

Hi everybody,
I found the problem, and this is that in the table structure there are
two columns type clob & blob, and with this kind of data in version
9.40.UC1 it is not possible now, as Informix says : "999 - Not
implemented yet".
We hope it will be implemented as soon as posible.
But if you have any suggestions for bypass this situation don't
hesitate to contact me....
