Performance on Version 7 / SCO

We have a Compaq proliant 4500 with twin 100MHz running v7 on SCO open server v3. Opening a database takes ages (2 secs plus). Also doing TBMONITOR, STATUS, DATABASES takes 5 secs. This is potentially disastrous for us as we have multiple I-net clients opening and closing database connections all the time. Are we normal? Thanks -- Daniel Pollick
