Key Translation/UpperCase?

I'm a novice to informix in all cases except buying their online and sql dev. tools. I'm trying to port my ctree style database application (nxtkey,aftkey,addkey,delkey) type application and one of the features I use heavely is "key transformation" for upper casing. That is if I have in my database of name: Kellner McKelvy Mchenry Then Mchenry will come before McKelvy. Basically, I want to have the mixed case names available for printing, but for queries, the user can type mchenry or Mchenry or McHenry and get the same result. Any ideas would be appriciated.
