Data Warehouse Architect - Hong Kong

Global Investment bank seeks a chief architect to lead the global implementation of a comprehensive data warehouse. The data warehouse architect will be responsible for the design and development of the strategic data warehouse architecture. The architect will develop a vision for the data warehouse based on business needs and must be able to translate this vision into an architecture that can support required extensibility and scalability. The data warehouse architect will be responsible for developing the logical and physical database designs for the data warehouse, data marts, and metadata objects Applicants must have a thorough knowledge in understanding database concepts: VLD, OLAP, OLTP, DTM, SMP, data normalization and denormalization schema, stored procedures, triggers, Relational, Hierarchical, OO, and Hybrid database models, DB performance and tuning, Client/Server platform, Database replication, MetaData, Data Mining.
