here is what I did. 1. get informix clientsdk for unix 2. install it on the machine 3. configure your sqlhost file 4. write a esql/c program to access your database server. you need to have the client machine on the server's .rhosts file. if you are using perl, get perl 5.004, install perl dbi and dbd:informix, then access it by calling dbd libaries. yan Saleem Mohammad wrote: > Hi folks > Happy New Year. > > Here is my Q > > 1.
