Dynamic v7.3 and Redhat v6.0 - network connectivity problems

We have a problem connecting to the Onlice Server from a client PC and from dbaccess. The sqlhosts file has the folliwing entries: tungsten onipcshm 10.2.5.1 tungsten tungsten_sox onsoctcp 10.2.5.1 tungsten_sox Connecting via a PC client (using ROM) and via dbaccess (dbaccess->connection) to tungsten and tungsten_sox using 'informix' user ID gives the error 952: User's password is not correct for the database server. Does anyone have any hints for solving this problem? We have discussed this with local support and checked the settings in hosts.equiv, hosts, sqlhosts and onconfig files. Any suggestions welcome. I had got the same problem. I had searched this news group, and found Linux kernel version problem. I don't know whether linux got problem or informix got problem. But when I upgrade kernel from 2.2.9 to 2.2.10, there is no problem.
