Problem with display statement on Sun Solaris

Hi, We are having a problem with a display statement on Sun Solaris. Informix 4GL version 7.20.UD5. Here is an example of what happens: display "John is good" at 5,1 display "Fred" at 5,1 The display that should appear and does on all other platforms is: "Fred is good" since the "Fred" will just replace "John" and the rest of the display remains the same, but what happens on the Sun Solaris box is that it erases the rest of the line, so the display just has "Fred" now. This works fine with the RDS version but has the problem with the C compile version. Anyone there know about this problem ? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Gopi.
