where can download I-SQL for linux?
Posted in 2008
Summary
A poster asked where to download Informix I-SQL (INFORMIX-SQL) for Linux x86. Replies from Art Kagel and Neil Truby confirmed there is no free/trial download: I-SQL is a chargeable product obtainable via an IBM Passport Advantage account, an IBM representative, or an Informix-savvy IBM Business Partner (examples given for the US and UK), who may also be able to arrange a trial. Note was made that Bell Micro is a distributor, not a partner dealing directly with end users. Resolved as "purchase through IBM or a partner."

AFAIK ISQL is a charge only product there is no free download. If you
have a PA account you can purchase and download it. Otherwise contact
your IBM representative or an IBM Partner who can acquire it for you.
Oninit, One Point Solutions, Advanced Datatools, Kazar are Informix
savvy IBM partners in the US, Bell Micro in the UK among others.

That's correct, I-SQL is not one of the products that is available on a
downloadable trial.
As Art says, an IBM Rep or a BP may be able to arrange a trial.
Finally, Bell Micro is a distributor, not a Business Partner in the sense
that it is not permitted to interact directly with end users. UK Business
Partners that could help include my own Ardenta, and Art's Oninit.
