Hi,
I am getting error -229: Could not open or create a temporary file
when I am
trying to create a stored procedure. My stored procedure looks like this
-- Procedure Insert2
CREATE PROCEDURE insert2(icompany_id CHAR(10))DEFINE tmp_ssn CHAR(9);
SET LOCK MODE TO WAIT;
CREATE TEMP TABLE tmp_reps (rep_ssn CHAR(9));
FOREACH
SELECT rep_ssn
INTO tmp_ssn
FROM company
WHERE company_id = icompany_id# ^
# 229: Could not open or create a temporary file.
#
INSERT INTO tmp_reps VALUES (tmp_ssn);END FOREACH;
/* some more irrelevant code here */
DROP TABLE tmp_reps;END PROCEDURE
WITH LISTING IN '/tmp/inser2.lst';
I have successfully created a stored procedure with everything the same
except the
stored procedure name. The code for that stored procedure follows
-- Procedure Insert1
CREATE PROCEDURE insert1(icompany_id CHAR(10))DEFINE tmp_ssn CHAR(9);
SET LOCK MODE TO WAIT;
CREATE TEMP TABLE tmp_reps (rep_ssn CHAR(9));
FOREACH
SELECT rep_ssn
INTO tmp_ssn
FROM company
WHERE company_id = icompany_id
INSERT INTO tmp_reps VALUES (tmp_ssn);END FOREACH;
/* some more irrelevant code here */
DROP TABLE tmp_reps;END PROCEDURE
WITH LISTING IN '/tmp/inser1.lst';
Does anyone know what is going on . even changing the temp table name
temp_reps
to something else does'nt seem to work.
DBSPACETEMP parameter in my onconfig is set to following
DBSPACETEMP tempspace1:tempspace2:tempspace3:tempspace4
Info output for tempspaces from onmonitor is as follows
