Re: HP vs Informix mirroring

Just a confirmation that this is not a completely isolated episode. Several months ago we tried
to upgrade to 7.23.uc4 from 7.22.uc2. I was trying to use the hploader, and one of the
executables was bad on the 7.22 release. I installed on a machine not in production -- no load
to speak of, etc. It started re-booting after about 3 hours and would stay up for anywhere
between 5 minutes and 3 hours. I checked all the obvious (with Informix tech support) -- and
after 24 hours I re-installed 7.22 as I just didn't need the hploader that bad. I assumed I
just had a bad media, and left it at that.
