So I understand sometimes that Send button is too easy. And I guess I qualify as marginaly polite... :-) Intelligent people are sometimes not too bright when it comes to newgroups. Their minds are working way too fast, and those impulses sometimes, well... :-) This networking thing pops up much too often. I wonder what the actual number of problems there are with Informix networking. Is there a magic number you use to guage for every post how many problems are unreported? It has to be pretty high for Inet/Iconnect/CLI/Whatever even though I know there are those out there that use it and never have a problem with it. This seems to be one of the most frequently posted problems... And Informix really needs to address it!
