libxio.a

I was wondering if anybody can help me out I just instaled Informix 4.13 on a Sequent 486 running Dynix I can compile a plogram using c4gl -c filename.4gl that gives me a filename.o but when i try to make a filename.4ge using c4gl filename.o -s -o filename.4ge i get this error "ld Cannot find library libxio.a" I talked to Informix and they have never heard of this library if anybody have any ideas I would apreciated if you can help me out Thank you Art.
