JAM Report Writer ! Opinions Wanted !

I am gathering opinions of programmers and user of the JAM Report Writer from JYACC. Good or Bad I would like to hear them. I am interested in a report writer for Informix Online V5.0 ( if it matters). The database will have many many tables but the reports that we will be writing will not need to join more than 4 or 5 and usually it will be 2 or 3. Some of the writers I have seen seem to choke on joins of any complexity ! Lets here you if you like JAM, if not What do you USE ?! Thanks.
