Exactly. US$ 200 * 10.000 = US$ 2.000.000 I can develop a lot for that. I assume I could also get a discount, but even at 50% off it would hardly be interesting. Also I have to start out at the 100 level of runtimes, so until I come to a level where I would get any significant discount I would be in problems. This type of product shouldn't carry significant runtime prices, and the development license should also be lower. Informix (or 4J) should earn their money on volume. That's where the tools bussiness and a large part of the rest of the software bussiness is at these days. They have to understand that. If not their products will not be particularly interesting.
