We did some test internally here with native drivers and ODBC drivers. We found about a 1% difference in performance. That's noise. We did some tests with other databases and we found that in some cases the ODBC drivers were faster than the native drivers. I know the people at Intersolv ran some benchmarks with their drivers that support this. The people at Visigenic seem to say the same things.
