I attacked the notion that Windows is the end-all platform for everybody, which is the impression I got from your first post. (You sounded like a Redmond Marketing Coordinator to me). Sally merely concurred with my opinion. If you felt flamed, let me work the fire extinguisher. That was not the intent. BTW, having a PC doesn't always mean it's a workable solution for Windoze. And if there's hardware replacement on the horizon, then other platforms could easily be explored. Also, the cost of developing the app is only a small part of the equation. At our office, the cost of supporting Windoze users is significantly higher than the Unix users. (Informix apps on Unix, Windoze apps on Windoze [like Word, Excel, etc.]). --- ~ SPEED 1.40 [NR] ~
