What would you like to see in Database access?

I am gathering information concerning database access through packages such as InForms, JetForm, Notes, etc. What would the users of such products and databases like to see in information access packages? For example: Are the designers for database views easy enough to use? Do packages need better reporting mechanisms? Are there databases that you cannot access that you would want to use? Are cross platform products important to you? Is the ability to share this information with other users important? How is it so? Are you a Mac User, Windows 3.0, Win 95, Unix, etc? How many hours do you spend entering or accessing information in your database? Is the query options adequate for your needs? Do the queries need optimization? What is your wish list?
