To convert you need to write a simple C program and have knowlege of the DBSCHEMA. If I remember correctly, since I have alzheimers I may be wrong, but Informix used fixed length records in the datbase structure. If you know the record layout, it would be trivial to parse the record to a more standard format. (You will have to recreate the date fields since Informix uses the number of days from the turn of the century.) -Mikey
