hi again,
here are the my settings of those critical values
- INFORMIXDIR and INFORMIXDIR\\bin
yes, ive both in the search path
- DB_LOCALE and CLIENT_LOCALE
ive set both to "de_de.1252"; database (se7.2) and client
are on a local windows in a german version
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Informix\\se32\\CurrentVersion\\
Environment
there are no entries... (?)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\Software\\Informix\\SQLHOSTS\\...
key LOCAL is set to
PROTOCOL "seipcpip"
SERVICE "sqlexec"
HOST ""
