Peter, This was discussed at some length a while back. Basically there is no magic wand that Informix or anyone else can wave - if your dates are in DMY2/ format, 01/01/01 will ALWAYS mean 1st January, 1901. Any decent database manager should now create databases using DMY4/ (UK) or MDY4/ = (US) dates. Thus 1st January, 2001 will be represented by 01/01/2001. (Kerry, maybe this should go in the FAQ?)
