One of the WorldWide people responsible for Informix has kindly answered the question thus: A decision was made at some point to only make these versions available as trial code. At this point, it would take considerable time and effort to make all versions available as actual trial code ... [we] are working to get this resolved via making all platforms of IDS v10.0 available for download from the IIUG website for trial and evaluation. We hope to have the issue resolved shortly ....
