printing "today" and "today -30" from esqlC
Posted in 1998
Hi I am developing CGI application which connects to informix database and gets results. I build two queries. 1. For yesterday results startedat >= today -1 and startedat <today 2. For last 30 days startedat >= today -30 and startedat <today. I would like to print the date values of "today -1 " and "today -30". For example If they do query , it should display 06/16/98. One way is to create some dummy table and do following select date(today -30) into :p_date from dummy I know that it is not the right way to do. Is there any way I can print those without accessing database. We are using C++ on AIX. Is there any function in AIX library. I want to know any function that belongs to either ESQL/C, or C++. Could you please mail to me Thank you Sukumar Konduru sukumar@gte.net
