Compiling and Running iBCS (informix in Linux)

Hi, Linuxers in Informix group : I compile and install iBCS , when i try to install iBCS (insmod iBCS) i get this error : insmod iBCS apic_reg undefined Loading failed! The module symbols (from linux-2.1.0) don't match your linux-2.1.0 ... so i cannot run informix , any ideas .
