Mine was focused on how to find out what's wrong, rather than the "Here are tunables and their effects." focus of the article Alkyr is referring to. Go to the IIUG Web site, all of the conference's Informix content presentation materials were posted there over the weekend, so you can get my .ppt file and the others and see what's what. Art S.
