Upgrading IDS version on PRI need rebuilt HDR/RSS?

Hi All, I have a question related to informix upgrade. If I am running Primary, HDR & RSS, then when i upgrade the primary informix version (from IDS 11.70 FC4 to FC7), then HDR & RSS remain intact or not? And does it requires the rebuilding of HDR & RSS again using level-0 backup after upgrading their versions or not? Also tell me that is there difference in doing the same for a minor upgrade (e.g. from FC4 to FC7) & major upgrade (e.g from IDS 11.50 to IDS 11.70) and also having the HDR or RSS in cluster? I mean to say, that if the rebuilding the HDR/RSS is mandatory in both minor & major upgrades or not? Thanks. Regards, Khan

Khan: The primary answer is that if you upgrade one server in a MACH11 cluster (HDR, RSS, SDS) then you have to upgrade them all and yes, for HDR and RSS secondaries it does mean recreating them from an archive taken of the primary.
