informix.ini INET_CONNECTION host=????.????.???

It seems that the hostname in the "host=" section is not resolved when a fully qualified domain name is used (e.g. dbserver.zoo.jackass.com). No problems using the IP address (192.9.200.1) or the local host name (dbserver). Is there a trick to get the client to resolve the DNS name?
