'Alter table' (even in-place alter table) changes the version
of a table, and this make all cursors, pre-optimized (prepared)
SQL's and stored procedure SQL plans (for procedures accessing
that table) invalid.
Usually, user sessions get '710' error
This is one of major problems with supporting Informix in 24x7 environment.
