Problem with Multiple Residency
I am setting up IUS for multiple residency (2 IUS server on one AIX
machine). Therefore I have set up a second user beside the standard
user informix
user: ifmx2
group: informix
with an appropriate environment (ONCONFIG, SERVERNUM, SERVERNAME etc.).
This worked out fine, i.e. oninit -i succeeded for ifmx2 and the second
server is up and running.
HERE'S THE PROBLEM: When ifmx2 starts onmonitor it prompts with the menu
STATUS and does not allow ifmx2 to change to other menus, e.g. PARAMETERS.
Apparently ifmx2 lacks the right to read some configuration file, because
if I su first (pertaining ifmx2's environment) all works normal.
Any help is more than appreciated,
