[5.03 ADMIN] increasing Logical Logs

newby question #432: I'm running Online 5.03 with a tbconfig file that was setup by my VAR when we got this machine. It has WAY to few and WAY too small logical logs specified. I've modified tbconfig, archived, stopped informix, rebooted, restarted informix, etc... in all kinds of combinations, but the number and size of logical logs remains unchanged... H E L P !!!! A cookbook explanation of the process of having modifications to tbconfig actually affect the engine would be _GREATLY_ appreciated.
