Informix does not support type TIMESTAMP. You can use DATETIME along
with a DEFAULT constraint and an UPDATE TRIGGER to implement
automatically maintained timestamps. Try:
create table mytable (...
timestamp DATETIME YEAR TO FRACTION(3) DEFAULT CURRENT,
...
);
