Hello Everybody,
First of all we migrate from 9.40 to 11.50 on our core business server,
without having any problem, but im carrying one old problem.
We have systabauth table with 139 extents, so i was reading the SQL Syntax the
alter table command to change the first and next extent size, but it says thatfirst extent size cannnot be changed on system catalog tables.
We are using 11.50 FC8 on AIX 5.3
Do you have any clue ?
Thanks in advance !
Leonardo
Hi.
Could you post your onconfig vars here:
TBLTBLFIRST
TBLTBLNEXT
TBLSPACE_STATS
(The default values for above are: 0, 0 and 1)
Maybe your ids engine isn´t configured to manage the extents
automatically...?
Best regards.

A couple of issues:
1. Changing the extent sizing for a table, user or catalog, doesn't get
fix the extent problem. You still have to reorg the table in some way.
2. There is no way to reorg a catalog table except to export the
database, recreate the database empty, change the extent sizing of the
catalog table that's giving you trouble, then reload the database.
