No, but you have to create a shell-script where you first set the appropriate environement variables (INFORMIXDIR, INFORMIXSERVER and possibly others) and then run update statistics via Art's dostats command (available at http://www.iiug.org in the software section under utils2_ak) or whatever other way you want.
