Informix guessing incorrect disk size

Hi all! We have been using Dynamic Server 7.30.TC7 for a long time in a medium machine. After awhile we became richer ;-) and buyed a big, full powered server and begun to migrate our Dynamic server installation to the new machine. Our surprise was that Dynamic server guesses that our RAID has 4GB of size when it really have 68 GB. Any ideas? Kind regards P.S. Don't ask me for rent space in our server. No chance. ;-)
It is not that Informix thinks that your drive is 4GB it is that the server cannot use an offset or chunk size greater than that. You will have to partition the logical RAID drive into smaller logical drives for informix to use. I do not know what partitioning facilities NT supplies, on UNIX you would normally use a volume manager like Veritas VM to handle breaking up the array. Art S. What O/S are you using? What is the hardware platform? Do you know that an Informix CHUNK cannot have pages beyond 2gb in a Unix partition (i.e. A chunk cannote be greater than 2gb, and its offset + size cannot be greater than 2gb). If this is a problem then you need to add multiple chunks to a dbspace to get the space you want. Therefore you will have to split your RAID array into 34 Unix Partitions (34 x 2gb Partitions = 68gb).
