My problem: I use SQL Development 4.1 on a Informix 5.0C?? Database. My written ace-report runs very nice, but when there is a lock ... Then it is as a roulette ... somtimes ace returned the same record (the record, bevore the locked record) 1000 times. My Questions: Is it possible to set the lockmode to dirty read? Are there any bugfixes of the problem below? Other ideas? thanks volker
