The onconfig file is only used by client programs that connect using shared memory to get the shared memory base address. It has no other effect on client programs that are local and shared memory and no affect AT ALL on network connections clients, local or remote in 7.xx versions. So I do not know what you are looking to gain but the ONCONFIG file is not the way. Please tell us exactly what attributes of user contact you want to change and why and someone will point you in the right direction. Art S. Kagel
