Strange problem on update stats...

As you will see from the section of onstat -g ses that I included below - I have an interesting issue here. per the "-g ses" I am getting a -111 ISAM error -- BUT -- no SQL error The update stats do complete, they just take 3-4 hours to run through one column. The table is fragmented over 117 fragments by year/wk for a rolling 2yr,1qtr,1wk period of data (78MM rows). Anyone see anything like this before???
