Multiple globals command

I have noticed that Informix does not support multiple globals command in a single source code file. Please correct me if I am wrong. If I am right, then this is a big flaw. As this flaw has just increased the maintenance costs for developing application in Informix. My arguments would there would be files used by all programs, and files used by some application modules, and some files shared by subapplicaiton modules. To repeat the variables across all the files is too expensive. If anyone out there knows the answer, please zap me. Regards Raymond Chow
