I have tried the SHMBASE setting suggested in the release notes (0x300000) in my tbconfig. I have tried to use the address that Online says that it wants ("illegal shared memory base address, using 0x300000, needs 0xbfed7000"). I have tried doubling the base address. I have tuned the hell out of all the shared memory parameters, and I (of course) have called informix and they haven't been any help. Not being a "C" programmer (4gl only), I have tried to poke around in the *.h and *.c files for Unixware looking for anything related to shared memory base address. I have also done a search on the entire Online documentation for Unixware. The only clue is that the base address has to be some multiple of some parameter or other (can't recall right now), but I can't decipher what that parameter value is. If anybody can help me (I've been waiting 4 days for a response from Informix), I would really appreciate it as well.
