Informix loader domain file

I did some digging and found the following code in the RUN_AS_ROOT.server script echo "" echo "Creating ifx loader domain file....." touch /var/adm/ifx_loader_domain chgrp informix /var/adm/ifx_loader_domain chmod 660 /var/adm/ifx_loader_domain echo "" I don't know the point of this but when we re-executed the code on the failed over machine everything was ok.
