Unable to initialise Informix IUS Server

Hi, I am trying to install the IUS server into my File Server on Windows NT 4. During the installation, it requests that the users profiles be stored in a PDC ( which is on another server ). All went well except until the part when it starts initialising the IUS server. What the error suggest is that it cannot start the Informix services. I tried starting it ( after some adjustment to the Services to run user profiles on local machine - the File server rather than the PDC ), the services started ( although it hangs often before that ) but I still can't get the SQLEditor to run.
