Because of limitations like these I have given up on using >SPL. Are you listening Informix? ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I hope so. Even though we have been only using Informix (and as a back-end only to Powerbuilder) for a short time, I still find that I rather strongly dislike it. (Hate is a strong word, so I won't use it, but it's real close) No database is perfect (My gripe with Sybase is they only have a datetime type, no date type), and life is not fair, but some of the most annoying things in Informix are things that I would think would not be TOO difficult to fix. And *some*, not all of the tech support people seem to act like this is not really a problem. Rather cocky about it, in fact. Well, it is a problem, and acting otherwise is ridiculous. I hope someone from Informix is reading this: I really don't know *how* Informix became so well-used. And these are only the problems we found _so far_. I just have to think, "what's next"? ............................................................ #include <smiley.h> Sean LeBlanc - leblancs@tsagate.com Quote o' the moment: "You can't fight in here, this is the WAR room!" #define STD_DISCLAIMER "My words are my own."
