The manuals "Informix SQL Reference Manual" (part No 000-7042) and "Informix SQL User Guide" (Part No 000-7041) have detailed sections on Ace and Perform. They can be ordered as a set: Part No 000-7500. These should not be confused (as I was) with "Guide to SQL:Reference" and "Guide to SQL:Tutorial", which are about the SQL languange, not the products provided with Informix-SQL.
