Hello,
We're having big performance problem with replication (HDR) and hoping
you can help providing some suggestions. With replication on, our
applications take 4 times longer to run. Onstat -g ses on the session
showed a status of "cond wait drcb_bqe". I understand that this means
sqlexec thread is waiting for an empty buffer arriving in the HDR buffer
queue, but I couldn't find any suggestions or solutions on the IBM site
as well as on IIUG.
This problem has been reported to IBM Technical Support, but so far, no
solutions or recommendations provided. I'd appreciate any help you can
provide.
Relevant info: IDS 9.40.FC5, AIX 5.2.

What is the ping time between the primary and the secondary? Since you
are seeing the cond wait drcb_bqe, I'm assuming that you are doing async
HDR. Are you also seeing L0, L1, or L2 waits when doing onstat -g ath?
