I've been playing around with php3 on Apache and studying the howto on Perl/Apache/Informix found on the Informix web site. I've even requested an eval copy of D4GL from Informix (the invoice for $8,000 has arrived but not the software). Apparently D4GL for Linux must be requested on CD as it is not available for download. This CD comes with IUS, I'm currently running SE. Anyway, I'm on a fishing expedition here. Does anyone one have any thoughts, opinions and/or suggestions about providing 4GL applications as "rental" programs? The programs will need to reside and be executed on the server as I would think they would be too large to download. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Holmes http://www.pacificnet.net/~sholmes sholmes@pacificnet.net Independent Programmer/Analyst Passport 4GL HTML Composer Informix 4GL, SQL --------------------------------------------------------------------- There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------3D45446422C28AF12B7C1477 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit <!doctype html public "-//w3c//dtd html 4.0 transitional//en"> <html> I am attempting to determine the feasibility of deploying some 4GL applications as "server-side" programs.
