Update statistics - question

Hi all, I'm new on informix. I've deleted the content of a table with: "delete from table where 1=1;" - that runs fine after a "load from file insert into table;" - that runs fine I can "select * from table" and get all data. But when I remember the contents of a keyfield and made a "select * from table where keyfield = content;" I get a "No Rows selected" - thats not fine. After an "update statistics" this statement worked. Is this the normal behaviour for informix? Or what was wrong? We are working with informix 7.27 on unix. greetings aglef PS: Sorry for my bad english.
