python 2.7.9 and informixdb on RPi

Has anybody had any luck getting the informixdb module working on a Raspberry Pi2 running Jessie, under python 2.7.9? I get the following error when I try to connect to the database: Fatal Python error: PyThreadState_Get: no current thread Aborted Seems to be a problem with python using different libraries than those that the informixdb module was compiled with. Hopefully there's an easy solution so that I can move forward. I have this working on a Beaglebone and another Pi2 (Wheezy) both running earlier Python versions - no problems with those installations. Thanks, Mike
